Heart health should be front and centre of any Canadian’s health and wellness regime. Our goal in partnering with Heart & Stroke is to remind Canadians about the simple ways that they can help improve their heart health. Massage by a registered massage therapist can help reduce stress, a risk factor for heart disease, not to mention improve posture, provide a more restful sleep, increase levels of serotonin and dopamine, and promote overall mental agility. VIPs and Corporate Challenge participants be sure to visit Hand & Stone for a free mini-massage pre-or post-event.

Philips Canada is excited to showcase their products aimed at making healthy living at home easy for participants at this year’s Ride for Heart. Be sure to stop by the Philips’ booth in Heart Park to learn more about their Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and their amazing home-cooking products with a chance to win one of three Philips’ products. See you there!

Canola Eat Well is about inspiring you in the kitchen and connecting you to the farm with Canada’s oil, canola oil. Did you know that canola is grown across the country by over 43,000 Canadian farmers? Canola oil is low in saturated fat, rich in monounsaturated fat and high in plant-based omega-3. It also has the least saturated fat of any common cooking oil. In fact, it has less than half the saturated fat of olive or soybean oil. Not only is canola oil healthy, but it makes food taste great! Check out all the great, delicious, and healthy recipes using canola oil on the Heart and Stroke website and drop by their tent for some heart-healthy fluffy popcorn.

AquaOmega can be found in Heart Park this year and is looking forward to interacting with fellow supporters like you on event day while sampling their omega-3s. Make sure to swing by their booth to say hello and enjoy some fun games and giveaways!

Collect 5 stamps at participating booths in Heart Park and be entered into a draw to win one of two $100 gift cards or a safe cycling package from Trek Bicycles Queen West.
