… Students & Teachers:

  • Decorate school hallways with posters and Paper Hearts (pro tips: create a giant collage with Paper Hearts, use them in art class, have students write their “Why” on them)
  • Deliver Jump messages at assemblies and during daily announcements after Kick-Off Assembly. Try these:
    • “Our Jump Rope for Heart fundraising goal is $[X]. Let’s try to reach it together! Ask your parents for help to raise money online or by using your collection envelope. Every donation counts!”
    • “How is your Jump Rope for Heart fundraising going? No matter where you’re at, keep up the great work! Every dollar you raise will help to fund research that helps other kids. Kids like Nolen, Zoe, Paige and Jamie. ”
    • Did you know that when you jump rope for others, you are also jumping for yourself? Get the exercise your heart needs while raising money to help all kids grow up healthy! Remember to count your EASY healthy habit streak when you register online! How many days in a row can you practice your favourite healthy habit?

  • Dear Parents,
Jump Rope for Heart was a huge success at our school again this year. Students raised $[X] for Heart & Stroke, while having fun jumping rope and learning about healthy habits. The funds we raised will support life-saving research and education that gives kids across Canada the best start to a healthy and happy life. Thanks to your generosity, our Jump participation also earned our school valuable resources through Heart & Stroke’s give-back program. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks!
    Sincerely,
