Welcome to Jump Rope for Heart
Jump up & celebrate 40 years of helping kids!
Happy 40th birthday to Jump Rope for Heart, the school event that puts the FUN in fundraising!
Nobody wants to skip this annual event, which gets almost one million kids moving, from 4,000 schools across Canada, and teaches them lifesaving health information in a fun, engaging way.
Here’s why we Jump:
Students learn life-long good habits: about healthy living and being
active. Did you know that healthy habits today help reduce kids’ risk of heart disease and stroke
later in life?
The EASY Healthy Habits program encourages kids to track those healthy habits online.
Kids feel good by
doing good: students learn the importance of giving back, as they collect donations that fund critical research that’s saving lives, preventing heart disease and stroke, and supporting survivors and their families.
Fits any time, place, activity, and ability: kids can move their way by jumping, dancing, wheeling, and more, on your schedule, at school, at home or online. Find inspiration here.
Jump gives back to
schools: participating schools get 10% of net fundraising dollars back, or earn points redeemable for sports equipment, learning materials like robotics kits, and more!
Kids helping kids
Raise funds for Jump Rope for Heart to support research that helps kids like:
Nolen had a stroke before he was born.
Zoe wears a device in case her heart isn’t beating the way it should.
Paige had a stroke when she was born.
Jamie had a heart operation 6 weeks after he was born.
